The Williamstown Gunners Basketball Club was started by Glenn Wright with Genevieve Pritchard (who became the first President). The club operated from the Altona North Tech Assembly Hall on Millers Road. Games were played at Altona North Tech, Altona North High, Williamstown Tech and Altona Green Primary School
